Honeydew is one of the hardest products to explain. It is honey, but not really. It is the closest thing to maple syrup with an Italian heritage you can find, but again not exactly right. In terms of taste, it is delicate, sweet but with a strong, almost bitter, aftertaste, almost like two souls coexist in one place.
Thanks to its characteristic flavour, the Adi Apicoltura Forest Honeydew is ideal with sweet and slightly aged cheeses, when served as a dessert with fresh ricotta and dried fruit, or pannacotta. To appreciate it fully, you can only try it.
